• Senior Trainer at the Combat Aviation Training School and Strategic Forces Training School
• Conferred with the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) that recognizes "distinguished service of an exceptional order" conferred on him by the President of India, for services rendered during his stint as the Commanding Officer of a Specialised Counter Terrorist Operations Battalion (Rashtriya Rifles) in a highly intense Counter Terrorist Grid in the Kashmir region.
• Reciepient of the Army Commanders Commendation Card for devotion to duty of a commendable nature as a Second – in – Command of an Infantry Unit stationed in mountain terrain.
